The International Doctoral Research Centre Seminar hosts two annual seminars each year. The American seminar is in the fall of each year and the European seminar is in Oslo, Norway in the spring of each year. Participants include post-doctoral researchers, doctoral research associates, and invited subject matter experts. Presentations and discussions are generally two hours in length allowing for an in-depth discussion and feedback opportunities. The coordinator of the European seminar is Dr. Gillian Warner-Søderholm and the coordinator of the American seminar is Dr. Andy Bertsch.
ANNUAL IDRC SEMINARS
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Post-Doctoral researchers seeking feedback on their research and who may be preparing manuscripts for publication;
Doctoral students at least two years into their doctoral studies;
Researchers and post-doctoral fellows who are seeking to pursue a career in research (for example, to progress from Associate to Full professorship);
and invited subject experts.
COST AND SPONSORSHIP:
Each seminar is sponsored by the Norwegian School of Management, BI. The only costs to attend are your own transportation costs to and from the seminar location.
SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT TO THE IDRC SEMINAR
Acceptance to attend the seminar will be through the submission of an abstract approximately eight weeks before the seminar. Abstracts are subject to peer review.
